FAQs for Jim Corbett Safari
The best time to visit is from November to June when the park is open to tourists. The winter months (November to February) are pleasant, while the summer months (March to June) offer a higher probability of tiger sightings near water bodies.
While tiger sightings are a matter of luck, the Dhikala and Bijrani zones are considered the best for spotting tigers. However, all zones have a healthy population of wildlife. Safari zones are allotted by the forest department and are subject to availability.
It is advisable to wear neutral-colored clothing (like beige, brown, or green) to blend in with the surroundings. Avoid bright colors. In winter, carry warm jackets, gloves, and a cap. In summer, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential.
