5-Day Kerala Backwater Itinerary
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, our representative will greet you and begin your scenic journey to Munnar. En route, marvel at the beautiful Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check into your hotel in Munnar and spend the evening at leisure, soaking in the cool mountain air. Overnight stay in Munnar.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake. Later, explore a tea plantation and learn about the tea-making process at the Tea Museum (subject to operation). Enjoy the stunning landscapes at every turn. Overnight stay in Munnar.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey, the heart of the backwaters. By noon, board your private houseboat and receive a warm welcome. As the boat cruises through the serene canals, enjoy a delicious Keralan lunch. Witness the local village life, paddy fields, and coconut groves. All meals will be served on board. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Wake up to the gentle lapping of water and enjoy breakfast on the houseboat. After disembarking, drive to the historic city of Cochin. Check into your hotel and then proceed for a city tour. Explore the historic Fort Kochi area, see the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, visit St. Francis Church and the Dutch Palace. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Cochin.
After your final Keralan breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will be transferred to the Cochin Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey, filled with beautiful memories of your trip.

The houseboat stay in Alleppey is a private experience exclusively for you. It includes a bedroom with an attached bathroom, a sitting area, and a dedicated crew (a captain and a cook). All your meals—lunch, evening tea with snacks, dinner, and breakfast—are freshly prepared and served on board.
Yes, we provide a private Air-Conditioned vehicle for your entire tour. However, please note that in hilly areas like Munnar, the AC will be switched off during steep climbs to prevent engine overheating. This is a standard safety practice followed by all drivers in the region.
