Detailed 8-Day Itinerary

Your Spiti adventure begins with a pickup from Delhi/Chandigarh and a drive to the 'Queen of Hills', Shimla. Check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure on the Mall Road. This first stop helps you begin acclimatizing to the altitude. Overnight stay in Shimla.

After breakfast, continue your journey into the beautiful Kinnaur Valley. Today's destination is Sangla, a picturesque valley with lush green fields and the Baspa River flowing through it. Check into your hotel or camp and enjoy the serene environment. Overnight in Sangla.

Explore the Sangla Valley today with a visit to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. After soaking in the beauty of Chitkul, drive to Kalpa, famous for its stunning views of the Kinner Kailash peak. Check into your hotel and enjoy the majestic sunset. Overnight in Kalpa.

Today you officially enter the Spiti region. Drive through treacherous but beautiful roads, stopping at the serene Nako Lake. Continue your journey to visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before reaching Kaza, the administrative headquarters of Spiti. Check into your hotel and acclimatize. Overnight in Kaza.

Explore the iconic sights around Kaza. Visit the famous Key Monastery, the largest monastery in Spiti. Continue to the high-altitude villages of Kibber and the stunning Chicham Bridge, Asia's highest suspension bridge. Return to Kaza for the night.

Today, take a trip to some of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Visit Langza, famous for its Buddha statue overlooking the valley, Hikkim, home to the world's highest post office, and Komic village. This is your last night of sightseeing in the magical Spiti Valley. Overnight in Kaza.

Begin your return journey from Spiti Valley. After an early breakfast, you will drive back towards the Kinnaur Valley and stay overnight in Kalpa. This breaks the long journey and allows you to enjoy the scenic drive once more.

After an early breakfast, start your final leg of the journey from Kalpa back to Delhi or Chandigarh. This will be a long travel day. You will be dropped off at your desired location, concluding your epic Spiti adventure.
